In other districts of the state, the mercury remained between 38 degrees and 42 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours, Mungeli received 17 mm of rain, Bilaspur received 13 mm and Mahasamund received 4.4 mm of rain. Apart from this, drizzle occurred at one or two places in Bilaspur, Kabirdham and Raipur districts. Boundary wall collapsed due to storm, 5 protesters injured
Storm started in Bilaspur on Thursday evening. During this, the pandal of the protesters sitting on a dharna against Mahavir Coal Wasari in village Patharra of Kota area was blown away. At the same time, the boundary wall fell on the protesters, due to which 5 people got injured. The police sent the injured to the hospital for treatment, where they were discharged after first aid.
