May Month Tyohar 2024: All months have special significance in Hindu religion. The fasts and festivals observed in every month are dedicated to different gods and goddesses. The month of May is very important not only for festivals but also for planetary transits.
The month of May not only starts with Kalashtami but on this day Devguru Jupiter is entering Taurus. Apart from this, festivals like Varuthini Ekadashi, Parshuram Jayanti, Sita Navami and Akshaya Tritiya are falling. Guru Panchak is also starting from 2nd May due to which no auspicious work will be done for 5 days.

Monthly Karthigai is falling on 8th May . On this day the flame form of Lord Shiva is worshipped. This day is also Vaishakh Amavasya.
Parshuram Jayanti will be celebrated on 10th May . Parashuram incarnation of Lord Vishnu is worshiped on this day. Also, this day is Akshaya Tritiya and Matangi Jayanti. Rohini fast will also be observed on this day.
Vinayak Chaturthi is falling on 11th May . Lord Ganesha is worshiped on this day.
Shankaracharya Jayanti, Surdas Jayanti, Ramanujan Jayanti will be celebrated on 12th May . Besides, this day is also Mother’s Day.
Skanda Shashthi is falling on 13th May and Ganga Saptami and Vrishabha Sankranti are falling on 14th May .
Monthly Durgashtami and Baglamukhi Jayanti will be celebrated on 15th May. Mother Baglamukhi is worshiped on this day.
Sita Navami is falling on 16th May . Mata Janaki is worshiped on this day.
Mahavir Swami Kaivalya Gyan Diwas is going to be celebrated on 18th May .
Mohini Ekadashi and Parshuram Dwadashi are falling on 19th May . This day is considered dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Pradosh Vrat is on 20th May . On this day, along with Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati is also worshipped.
Narasimha and Chhinnamasta birth anniversary is going to be celebrated on 21st May .
Kurma Jayanti will be celebrated on 23rd May . Vaishakh and Buddha Purnima are also falling on this day.
Ekadant Sankashti Chaturthi is falling on 26th May . Lord Ganesha is worshiped on this day.
Kalashtami and monthly Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on 30th May . Kaal Bhairav Dev is worshiped on this day.
