Mahasamund: Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Agricultural Mazdoor Nyay Yojana: Scheme launched on the first date of September

Mahasamund, 30 August 2021. “Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana” is being started in the state of Chhattisgarh for the financial year 2021-2022. The main objective of this scheme is to identify landless agricultural labor families in rural areas and to provide financial grants to landless agricultural families on an annual basis. This aims to increase the net income of the landless agricultural labor families. An annual financial assistance of Rs 6000 will be given to each family. It has been started to identify the landless agricultural laborers in rural areas and to provide them grants on an annual basis. This scheme will start from the first of September. For this, all the preparations in the district are in the final stages. Printing of applications has been done by the district panchayat. About 63000 applicants in the five development blocks of the district are likely to be covered under the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana’. Rs.6000 annually to the eligible beneficiaries.
This scheme will be implemented under the supervision of Revenue Department.
District Monitoring Committee has been constituted for the successful operation of the scheme. The meeting of the committee was held last week under the chairmanship of Collector Doman Singh. Describing the responsibilities of the committee, he said that the identification of eligible families, Gram Panchayat, Verification from Gram Sabha and various activities have to be done in time-limit. Apart from this, there is also the responsibility of reviewing and monitoring the implementation of the plan. Along with wide publicity of the scheme, Gram Sabhas have to be organized. It also includes ensuring payment of grant-in-aid amount to the eligible beneficiaries. He said that it is also the responsibility of the committee to remove the obstacles in the implementation of the scheme and also to ensure that the grievances received from the rural landless agricultural laborers are redressed. Under the scheme, the registration work of the beneficiary families will be done from 1st September 2021 to 30th November 2021. The Collector has directed all the Gram Panchayats of the district to impose duties on employees for taking applications during office hours and entering the portal.
In this scheme, under the rural landless agricultural labor families like shepherds, carpenters, blacksmiths, cobblers, barbers, washermen, priests – families associated with the Pasari system, collectors of forest produce and other classes fixed by the government from time to time will also be eligible, if That family does not have agricultural land. Land held for residential purpose will not be treated as agricultural land.
It will be mandatory for the heads of rural landless agricultural labor families to register on the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Agricultural Mazdoor Nyay Yojana portal along with the application form to get the grant-in-aid amount. To get the benefits under the scheme, the heads of the rural landless agricultural laborer families should be sent to the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Agricultural Mazdoor Nyay Yojana portal Rggbkmny.cg.nic.in within the stipulated time period.Registration will be mandatory. The registration work in the portal will be done from September 01 to November 30, 2021. In the documents required for registration, the application along with the photocopy of Aadhar card, bank passbook will have to be submitted to the Secretary, Gram Panchayat.
