For the year 2021-22, applications have been invited by the District Antyavasayee Co-operative Development Society in the prescribed format for setting up self-employment from the interested applicants of the Scheduled Tribes category of the district by June 25, 2021. Prabha Markande, Chief Executive Officer in-charge of District Antyavasayee Cooperative Development Society, informed that applications have been invited from the tribal applicants of the district for setting up business and self-employment in agriculture, industry, transport and service sectors. Under this, tractor trolley scheme, dairy scheme, fish farming, goat rearing, vermi compost and poultry business are included from agriculture sector. From this sector, loans will be provided for fisheries, poultry, spices, rice mills, pulses mills etc. under the microcredit scheme for self-help groups. Under the term loan scheme from the industry sector, loans will also be given for fabrication, bakery, cement pole and pot construction, bricks construction.
Apart from this, provision of loan has been made from the transport sector under Goods Carrier Scheme, Passenger Vehicle Scheme. Along with this, loans will be sanctioned under the term loan scheme for grocery business, beauty parlour, computer center, coaching, photo copy, stationery, textile business from service sector and catering, dona pattal, spice, bakery business under microcredit scheme to self-help groups. Loans will be provided to tribal women empowerment group for business like beauty parlor, tailoring, general stores etc. He said that on receipt of the proposed applications from the applicants, action would be taken to disburse loans to the selected applicants after the meeting of the selection committee as per eligibility, on receipt of the actual target for the financial year 2021-22 from the corporation headquarters Raipur.
Giving information about the eligibility and conditions of the applicants, it was said that the applicant should be a member of Scheduled Tribe category and a native of the district. The annual income of the applicant of rural area should be 98 thousand rupees and the annual income of the applicant of urban area should be up to one lakh 20 thousand rupees and his age should be between 18 to 50 years. Income should be of financial year 2020-21. Caste, residence certificate issued by the competent authority. The applicant will have to give an undertaking to the effect that in the past, he has not taken advantage of loans or grants in any bank and government schemes. It is mandatory for the applicants of the transport sector schemes to have a valid commercial driving license. It is necessary to have five acres of agricultural land in the name or title of the applicant for tractor trolley business and he should not have tractor trolley, freight and passenger vehicle available in the past.
