Mahanadi boat accident update: One dead and 6 people still missing, CM Vishnudev Sai expressed grief over the incident, gave necessary instructions to the district administration

Raipur . A boat filled with more than 40 devotees has capsized in Mahanadi near Saradha village in Jharsuguda district of Odisha. One person has died in this accident and 6 people are missing. 45 people have been rescued. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has expressed grief over the incident and has given necessary instructions to the Raigarh district administration.

CM Vishnudev Sai has posted on X and wrote, Sad news is being received about the death of a person due to boat sinking in Mahanadi located at Patthar Seni Temple near Saradha village of Jharsuguda district of Odisha. While 45 people have been rescued. 6 are still missing, who are being searched. Harmony has been established between Jharsuguda administration and Raigarh district administration. Necessary instructions have been given to Raigarh district administration. Arrangements have been made to bring the rescued people back to Anjorpali and other villages in Kharsia by arranging a bus at the incident site. I pray to God to provide strength to the bereaved family of the deceased.
