ACB has interrogated the accused of Mahadev Satta, coal scam and liquor scam who were lodged in Raipur Central Jail for a long time. The team reached inside the jail on Friday morning and came out after about 10 hours at 8 pm. Permission for interrogation has been given from the Special Court of Raipur between March 29 and April 2.
Three applications were presented by ACB in the special court of ED. It was said in the application that for further investigation in the scam case, it is necessary to interrogate the accused who are in jail. Accepting the application, the court has given permission for interrogation in the jail itself.
These accused have come under questioning
Arvind Singh, lodged in the Central Jail, will be interrogated in the liquor scam case, Aseem Das, Bhim Yadav and Satish Chandrakar in the Mahadev betting case and Sameer Bishnoi, Suryakant Tiwari, Shivshankar Nag and Nair in the coal scam case.
Now the proceedings are expected to move ahead
ACB has recently registered an FIR in the Coal Liquor and Mahadev Satta App case. In all these cases, reports were given by ED. In the report sent by ED to ACB, it was said that – “ED has taken action in the above cases under PMLA.
ED’s investigation has found strong indications of various sections of the IPC and irregularities by public servants in these cases, therefore, as per the rules, this report is being sent to the ACB, so that necessary advance action can be ensured by registering the case under appropriate sections. “
