Accused Suraj Chokhani and Girish Talreja, who are jailed on judicial remand in the Mahadev Satta App case, were produced in the District Judge’s court on Saturday. Where after the hearing the court has extended the judicial remand by 14 days.
Now the next hearing of the case will be held in the special court of Raipur. In connection with the case registered in EOW, the officials have applied to the court to interrogate the accused. Whose hearing will be heard in DG Court on March 28.
Suspended IAS Chandrabhushan Verma and Nitin Tibrewal filed bail petition
At the same time, an application for bail has been filed on behalf of suspended IAS Chandrabhushan Verma and Nitin Tibrewal, who are in jail in Mahadev betting case. On which the hearing will be held in the special judge’s court on April 6.
Earlier, in the Mahadev Satta App case, the Enforcement Directorate had recently postponed the hearing on the 3500-page supplementary challan presented in the court against Nitin Tibrewal, Amit Aggarwal and Nitish Diwan.
The app earned Rs 6000 crore
ED has been investigating the money laundering case related to Mahadev App for almost a year. It is alleged that the involvement of high ranking politicians and bureaucrats of Chhattisgarh has been revealed in this. The two main promoters of the app are also from Chhattisgarh. According to ED, the income in this case has been estimated to be around Rs 6,000 crore.
