Saurabh Pandey further told that the second arrested person, Nitish Tibrewal, was a shareholder in the foreign companies of the accused named Vikas Chhaparia. When we asked about his properties outside India, he initially refused.
We had sought his remand from the court to proceed further in this case and gather evidence. The court heard the arguments of lawyers from both sides. We asked for 14 days remand, but the court has granted us 5 days remand. They will be presented in the court again on January 17.
Saurabh Pandey said that we had called him for questioning. When they were interrogated, their statements were different from the records. They were giving misleading information. We felt that they were hiding a lot. After this, his remand was sought for intensive interrogation.

Recently, the way has been cleared to bring Mahadev Satta App promoter Ravi Uppal from UAE to India. ED had applied in the Special Court of Raipur, which has been accepted. After this, a letter of request has been issued to the UAE court under the extradition treaty.
After this further action will start. ED had issued a Red Corner Notice against Ravi Uppal through Interpol. He was arrested 30 days ago.
Ravi Uppal is the co-founder of Mahadev App.
ED lawyer Saurabh Pandey said that the process of bringing Ravi Uppal, co-founder of Mahadev online betting app, from UAE to Chhattisgarh has been completed. UAE documents will be sent through the Ministry of External Affairs of India. Ravi Uppal is wanted in India.
Money laundering case also against Ravi Uppal
ED is investigating Mahadev App in the money laundering case. Apart from this, Chhattisgarh Police and Mumbai Police are also involved in the investigation. The ED had filed a charge sheet against Uppal and his partner Saurabh Chandrakar before the PMLA court in Raipur in October.
Property worth Rs 417 crore was seized
Just two months ago, ED had raided 39 locations in Mumbai, Kolkata and Bhopal and seized assets worth Rs 417 crore. Ravi Uppal is living in UAE with his partner Saurabh Chandrakar. The Central Government had banned 22 apps and websites including Mahadev App only a month ago.
Ravi started Mahadev betting app with Saurabh
In 2017, Ravi and Saurabh together created a website to earn money through online betting. However, initially this website had less users. Saurabh went to Dubai for job in 2019. After some time, Saurabh also called his friend Ravi Utpal to Dubai. Before Ravi reached Dubai, Saurabh had prepared a complete plan to earn money through betting website. After this both of them created a betting website and app by the name of Mahadev Book Online. Started promoting it through social media and other means.
Saurabh adopted two paths to expand the business of Mahadev Company.
First: Promoted the app through social media marketing and influencers.
Second: Bought other betting apps and websites.
Network of about 4 thousand panel operators
Through online betting app, Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal had created a network of about 4 thousand panel operators in the country. Each panel operator had 200 customers who placed bets. It is being said that in this way both were earning Rs 200 crores daily. With this black money, he established his empire in the United Arab Emirates.
