Raipur. Dismissed police constable Arjun Yadav, arrested in the Mahadev betting case, has been sent on 5-day police remand by the special PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) court. The EOW team had applied in the court to take Arjun Yadav on police remand for 5 days for questioning, today after hearing the arguments of both the parties, the court has given its decision to send him on police remand till May 14. .
Quoting solid sources of EOW, it is reported that during interrogation, arrested police constable Arjun Yadav has revealed that crores of rupees have been deposited in several bank accounts. After which many EOW teams reached banks in many districts including Durg, Bhilai, Raipur and Raigarh. After which now the process of freezing crores of rupees lying in bank accounts is going on. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this yet.
