Bijapur district received maximum rainfall in the state.

According to the information compiled by the state-level control room set up by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the state government, an average rainfall of 704.2 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2023. According to the rainfall recorded in different districts of the state from June 01, 2023 to today, August 23 morning, the highest average rainfall of 1243.4 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 326.7 mm in Surguja district. According to the information received from the state level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 639.9 mm has been recorded in Surajpur district, 652.5 mm in Balrampur, 560.8 mm in Jashpur, 688.5 mm in Korea, 707.9 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, 810.0 mm in Raipur district, 691.3 mm in Balodabazar, 643.9 mm in Gariaband, 736.2 mm in Mahasamund, 717.4 mm in Dhamtari, 720.6 mm in Bilaspur, 860.4 mm in Mungeli, 778.7 mm in Raigarh, 630.6 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Average rainfall was recorded in Janjgir-Champa 593.1 mm, Sakti 591.0 mm, Korba 685.3 mm, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi 729.7 mm, Durg 569.4 mm. 550.9 mm in Kabirdham district, 777.5 mm in Rajnandgaon, 893.6 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, 719.5 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 757.7 mm in Balod, 545.2 mm in Bemetara, 718.8 mm in Bastar, 634.3 mm in Kondagaon, Average rainfall has been recorded in Kanker 664.4 mm, Narayanpur 633.9 mm, Dantewada 816.2 mm and Sukma 1030.8 mm since June 1 till date.
