Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Election Commission of India imposed ban on Exit Poll, know till when this rule will remain in force

Raipur. The Election Commission of India has banned organizing and telecasting any kind of exit poll from April 19 to June 1. Issuing a notification in this regard, the Commission has prohibited organizing and telecasting any type of exit poll during this period under the provisions of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.

Let us tell you that in the notification issued by the Election Commission of India, it is mentioned that in view of the Lok Sabha Elections-2024, any kind of exit in the context of the Lok Sabha General Election will be prohibited in the period from 7 am on April 19, 2024 to 6:30 pm on June 1, 2024. There will be a ban on conducting the poll and publishing or publicizing its results through print or electronic media or disseminating it in any other way.

The Commission has also clarified in the notification that no opinion poll in any electronic media or There will be a ban on display of any kind of election related matter including the results of any other polling survey.
