Khairagarh. In the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting was also held for Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha seat today. In Khairagarh district under this, 75.25% voting was recorded till 6 pm. Now gradually the process of return of polling parties from highly Naxal affected areas as well as polling parties from plain areas is continuing.
In Khairagarh district, Pipariya Ware House warehouse has been made a strong room, where after successfully conducting the elections, polling teams from across the district including Naxal affected booths Karelagarh, Salhewara, Bakarkatta, Gatapar, Ghaghra Bhave are reaching to collect EVMs. District Election Officer Chandrakant Verma and Khairagarh SP Trilok Bansal welcomed the polling teams that arrived after conducting peaceful voting everywhere in the district, by gifting them bouquets and garlanding them.
