Bilaspur. A petition has been filed in the Chhattisgarh High Court regarding the Loharidih suspicious death case. The petition of the deceased Shiv Prasad Sahu’s daughter has been heard in the High Court. The division bench of the Chief Justice has allowed the petitioner to file a case in the jurisdiction of Madhya Pradesh. The petitioner had filed a petition demanding repostmortem.

Let us tell you that the body of the deceased was found hanging under suspicious circumstances. Advocate Sandeep Dubey, on behalf of the petitioner in the case, said that on September 15, the body of Shivprasad Sahu was found hanging from a tree in suspicious circumstances in Birsa village of Madhya Pradesh. After this, the MP police handed over the body to the Chhattisgarh police after a short post-mortem. After this, the police hurriedly buried the body in the presence of only a 9-year-old child without informing the elder members of the deceased’s family.

The family of the deceased suspects that Raghunath Sahu and his family members murdered Shivprasad. Because Janak Sahu, who is a member of Raghunath’s family, is missing when Shivprasad went to Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, a detailed post-mortem should be done in the case and action should be taken after investigation.

In this case, the government told the court that since this incident happened within the Madhya Pradesh border and the police there is investigating the case, therefore the Chhattisgarh police cannot investigate the case. After this, the division bench of the Chief Justice allowed the deceased’s daughter to file a petition in the court of MP.

The body of the deceased is currently buried in Loharidih. The court said that when Madhya Pradesh police comes to Chhattisgarh, the state police will cooperate in the investigation. Senior advocate Vivek Tankha pleaded the case on behalf of the deceased.
