Durg. An accident happened in Shakuntala Apartment in Vaishali Nagar area of Bhilai. Here the lift suddenly collapsed. Four people were injured when the lift fell in the parking lot. Two of them were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to Shankaracharya Hospital.People of Shakuntala Apartment told that in 2014 the work of this apartment was started by the land owner Shakuntala Dhadate and the builder Risali resident Vakil Ahmed. As of today, the flats have not been handed over to many people. A person living in the apartment told that the people who have bought the flats have installed two more lifts themselves, theShiv Chaudhary’s family lives on the fourth floor. He had guests and 4 people including children were in the lift, which collapsed and fell straight into the parking lot. All the people were injured due to this, it is being told that 2 people are seriously injured. They are being treated at Shankaracharya Hospital. On what basis is Bhilai Nagar Palika Nigam giving permission to such flats? Neither safety nor the quality of the building is taken care of in this.
