Tourists will get accommodation in cottages
Koriya 12 July 2020. Collector Shri SN Rathore took a meeting of the officials of the concerned department to develop Amritadhara waterfall as a major tourist destination in the rest house of Amritdhara, a tourist destination located in the Manendragarh development block. During this, he inquired about the progress of the instructions given in the meeting held in June last month. SP Mr. Chandramohan Singh, District Panchayat CEO Mrs. Tulika Prajapati, Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue Mr. RP Chauhan and other concerned departments were present in the meeting.
At the meeting, Collector Mr. Rathore instructed to improve the cottage, furniture, electricity, canteen etc. all the necessary facilities as soon as possible for the stay of tourists in the cottage. The facility of online booking will also be provided for lodging here by fixing the amount soon. Also inquired about the dismantling of old buildings near the rest house. In the meeting, the Collector directed the PHE department officer to discuss the problem of water in the cottage and provide water soon. He set up water tanks for water storage in the cottages, the duty of forest guards and constables for security, installation of CC TV cameras for maintaining and monitoring hygiene in the tourist spots, sports equipment for the entertainment of children, public toilets He directed the officials concerned for plantation for cleaning, installing sign boards, painting the main gate and beautifying the tourist place. Along with this, he instructed to build railings near the tourist information center and waterfall for the safety of tourists.
In the meeting, the collector directed the officials concerned to start the Canteen building soon and discussed various topics and took suggestions from the officials to attract tourists. The Collector reviewed the officials of the District Panchayat Resource Center Building, Police Assistance Center, Local Handicraft Market, Cottages etc. made in the tourist destination Amritdhara.
