Korea 26 September 2020. Under the guidance of Collector SN Rathore, the Godhan Nyaya Yojana is being handled better in the district. Which is the proof that Korea district has joined the top 5 districts of the state in the purchase and payment of cow dung and is in the first place in Surguja division. Districts included in the top 5 of Chhattisgarh are Rajnandgaon, Raigarh, Raipur, Dhamtari and Korea. Under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, in the fourth installment, 21606.40 quintal dung has been purchased from 4021 dung vendors in the district, in lieu of which Rs 43 lakh 21 thousand 280 has been paid into the bank accounts of the sellers.

Collector  Rathore has congratulated CEO Zilla Panchayat and his entire team for this excellent performance and encouraged them to work in the same way. He informed that an app has been prepared by the state government to run the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Through which the registration of cow dung vendors and the purchase and payment of cow dung are being done online. Collector Shri Rathore said that it was a challenge to learn the complete process of app operation as well as to operate within the stipulated time frame, which was met with hard work by all the people involved in this task. Everyone deserves congratulations.

Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, Smt. Tulika Prajapati said that this has been possible only due to the tireless hard work of Collector Shri Rathore and all the officers, secretaries and employees involved in this work. He said that the fourth installment has been paid on 25 September under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. From September 1 to September 15, 21606.40 quintal dung was purchased from 4021 dung vendors in the district and an amount of Rs 43 lakh 21 thousand 280 has been paid into the bank accounts of the vendors.

Similarly, the Godhan Nyaya Yojana has become an additional source of income for Sonhat’s Jeevan Lal. The village, poor and farmers are definitely getting the benefit of economic progress from this scheme. Not only this, vermicompost compost is being prepared by self-help groups from cow dung purchased under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, which is good for organic farming.
