Korea: Reading and writing campaign: State level online training of volunteer teachers completed on 23 and 24 February 2021

Special focus on female literacy to reduce literacy gender gap

Korea 26 February 2021. The District Project Officer of the District Literacy Mission Authority said that on 23 February 2021, online state-level orientation, total 524 participants in training and online state-level orientation, training 621 participants received training on 24 February 2021 under the reading writing campaign.
In order to make literate 9000 insecurities for the implementation of reading and writing campaign in the district, survey has been done with field staff and 988 volunteer teachers have been identified. A 2-day online state level orientation of these volunteer teachers was conducted on 23 and 24 February 2021. The District Project Officer, District Literacy Mission Authority, Korea, Sources, District Level Skilled Instructor, Block Level Nodal Officer, Block Level Skilled Instructor, Village In-Charge, Ward in-charge of urban body and volunteer teachers were involved in the campaign for reading and writing. Cluster level training of volunteer teachers is proposed in the month of March 2021.
It is worth mentioning that Shri SN Rathore, Collector and President (Executive), District Literacy Mission Authority, Korea and Mr. Kunal Dudawat, Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat and Vice Chairman, District Literacy Mission Authority, Korea, as per instructions of Korea Implementation of the Government of India Project Reading and Writing Campaign is being implemented.
Reading and writing campaigns are being conducted mainly in rural and urban areas. Committees have been formed at the Urban Development Mission Committee and Wardhagram Panchayat level in the 03 Block Development Literacy Mission Committee, Sonhat, Kharagwan, Manendragarh and Municipal Corporation Baikunthpur, for the Reading Write campaign. Panchayat-wise and ward-wise of unsafe have been identified. Special attention has been focused on female literacy in this campaign, so that the literacy gender gap can be reduced.
