Korea 16 May 2022. The population of more than 1600 people of remote forest area Ugyav no longer have to go far for health facilities. The residents of 5 villages have got better health facilities through the new sub-health center located at village Ugyaav of Sonhat block. The villagers, who came to the center for health check-up, say that earlier, even for minor ailments, we had to go to the Community Health Center, Sonhat and the District Hospital, Baikunthpur. In the villages without network, there was a problem of connectivity in case of emergency and it was also a challenge to reach on time, so now good treatment is being provided here with the facility of sub-health center in the village. In the health center, along with the treatment of common diseases, safe delivery facilities are also being provided.

sub-health center 26 safe deliveries have been done in the sub-health center so far. Villagers told that earlier the biggest problem here was delivery, for delivery, pregnant mothers had to go to Ramgarh or Community Health Center, Sonhat, due to which mother and child were in danger if they could not reach the health center on time. With the facility of health center, now regular check-up and safe delivery has been provided. In the year 2021, there has been no maternal death in any village under this centre. Apart from this, better treatment of common diseases is also being done in this health center.
