Korea 28 September 2020. The Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Department informed that the Government of India Ministry of Minority Affairs, New Delhi has provided to the talented students of minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi) in the financial year 2020-21 for pre-matriculation, post matriculation and Merit-cum-Means Scholarships are to be paid. Except for class I, the students of minority community having minimum 50 percent marks in the previous year examination and Rs 1 lakh for the annual income of parents, Rs 2 lakh for post matriculation and Rs 2.50 lakh for merit-cum-means. Online applications will be invited in the website www.scholarships.gov.in of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, New Delhi. Its procedure is given in the FAQs on the home page of the website.
He said that the pre-matric, post matriculation and merit-cum-means scholarships have been declared by the students on 31st October for filling new and renewal applications online and 15th November for verification by the institution.
