Korea: Farmer Sukh Ram learns new skills of farming with the help of agriculture department: increase in both production and income

Korea 18 January 2021.  Sukharam, a farmer of village Bade Kalua of Kharagwan development block of Koriya district, has got success in agricultural production under the guidance of the Department of Agriculture, using new techniques of agriculture and high quality seeds and has been able to improve his economic condition. Huh. The farmer Sukhram has received more production than the normal sown crop by sowing a row of maize and urad in collaboration with the agriculture department.
Farmer Sukh Ram says that after getting guidance from the Agriculture Department, he cultivated advanced varieties of Urad and Maize. With the knowledge of agricultural policies and schemes, their income has increased by producing more at a lower cost. With this, they are now able to provide for the happiness and needs of their family.
Sukhram states that he has a total land of 1.08 hectares. In which, under the National Food Security Mission Pulses Scheme in 1 hectare area, in the year 2020, Urad Masha and Maize CP333 crop was organized under the endowment crop demonstration. In collaboration with the officials of Agriculture Department, by sowing the queue, obtained insecticide and other materials. Earlier Sukhram used to use old method of spraying and cultivating pesticides. Due to which low production and cost was high and income was also less. But by sowing the queue with the help of Agriculture Department and getting pesticides and other materials, we are getting more production from low cost with advanced technology and income is also increasing.
