Korea 07 December 2020. Like every year, today, on 07 December, the Armed Forces Flag Day was celebrated in the District Sainik Welfare Office at Collectorate. Ex-servicemen were also present on the occasion in the presence of Parliamentary Secretary and Baikunthpur MLA Smt. Ambika Singhdev and Collector Shri SN Rathore. In the program he shared memories of his days of service to the country as a soldier.
Baikunthpur MLA Smt. Ambika Singhdev expressed respect for the soldiers’ valuable contribution to the service of the country on this occasion. He donated an amount of Rs one lakh for the welfare and assistance of the soldiers on the Armed Forces Flag Day. Collector Shri SN Rathore said on this occasion that the district administration will provide all possible help to the ex-servicemen and their families. It will be our endeavor that soldiers and their families can get maximum benefit of the schemes run by the government.
Collector Shri Rathore and District Soldier Welfare Officer Commander Ranjit Singh Bisht sent greetings of Armed Forces Flag Day to the soldiers present and requested all the citizens of the district to contribute wholeheartedly for the welfare of the soldiers. It is worth mentioning that on this day, the contribution amount is accepted for the rehabilitation and welfare work of the martyred and disabled soldiers, as well as the dependent family members of the martyred soldiers.
On the occasion, information about various welfare schemes for soldiers was also given by the District Sainik Welfare Office’s Welfare Convenor, Mr. Suresh Kumar Soni. Additional collector Mr. Sukhnath Ahirwar , Food Officer Shri Ganesh Kurre and other officers and ex-servicemen of the district attended the said program .
