Korea 27 September 2020. Collector SN Rathore has allotted land for construction of district hospital and other medical buildings at village Talwapara in Tehsil Baikunthpur in Koriya district.
Ever since the creation of the district, there was a continuous demand for new district hospital building by the public representatives and general public, which will be completed soon. With the formation of a new district hospital, the district residents will be able to get better and quality health facilities.
Giving information in this regard, Collector Shri Rathore said that about four and a half acres of land has been allotted in village Talwapara of Tehsil Baikunthpur for construction of district hospital and other buildings. The land for the new hospital building has been selected in such a way that the people of all the development blocks of the district like Manendragarh, Bharatpur, Sonhat and Khadgwan-Chirmiri also have the facility.
This is certainly a matter of happiness for all the citizens of the district. A provision of Rs 38 crore has been made in DMF’s action plan for the construction of the district hospital building. CGMSC has been asked to prepare drawing design and estimate for the construction of district hospital building. Construction work will be started soon by issuing its administrative approval. Collector Rathore has directed the officials concerned to take necessary action.
