Deputy Director Agriculture suspends four compost-seed stores shops suspended
Urea sales will remain closed during suspended period.
Korba 04 September 2020. The district administration is continuously taking action at the fertilizer-seed stores shops which have been making irregularities in urea sales. Fertilizer registration of four fertilizer and seed stores has been suspended. In the news, there was a case of irregular urea fertilizer being sold in the name of farmers. Collector Smt. Kiran Kaushal took serious note of this matter and directed the officers of the Agriculture Department to investigate. On the instructions of the Collector, the fertilizer license of fertilizer licenses for fertilizer-seed stores that have been doing irregularities in urea sales has been suspended by the Agriculture Department. Deputy Director Agriculture informed that the registrations of shops which have done irregularities in urea sale have been suspended. Selling of fertilizer from shops will be completely banned during the period of suspension. He said that the fertilizer registration of Messrs Kisan Seed Store Korba of Block Korba and Messrs Singhania Agency Korba and M / s Sarvamangala Khad Bhandi Bankimongra and Messrs Keshari Seed Store Katghora of the Block Katghora have been suspended.
Deputy Director Agriculture stated that the validity of the fertilizer registration certificate of Messrs Singhania Agency Korba, Messrs Sarvamangala Khadi Store Bankimongra and Messrs Kisan Seed Store Korba was till 31 March 2020. Validity was validated from 30 June 2020 from Directorate of Agriculture. Before 2 September 2020, the three seed stores have not submitted the application for renewal of registration certificate. The registration certificate has been invalidated due to non-renewal. Fertilizer business will remain completely banned during this suspended period. Deputy Director Agriculture said that on the basis of the inquiry report of the farmers who purchased the top 20 urea of the district, Messrs. Kisan Seed Stores Korba, Messrs Singhania Agency Korba, Messrs Sarvamangala Manure Stores Bankimongra and Messrs Keshari Seed Stores Katghora Fertilizer Control Order, Section 5 of 1985 And 35 were found guilty of violations and irregularities due to which show cause notices were issued to all the four manure-seed stores. In response to the notice, clarification was given by the operators of the above four shops, which was not found to be satisfactory.
