Home delivery of household necessities will be done from the grocery stores from 7 am to 11 am for the convenience of the people during the complete lockout period applicable till 27 April for prevention of Kovid infection in the district. In this regard, District Magistrate Kiran Kaushal has also issued necessary instructions. The task of preparing the list of shop operators for home delivery has been given to urban bodies in urban areas and to CEOs of Janpad Panchayats in rural areas. Urban bodies and district panchayats will prepare a list, including mobile numbers of grocery stores and their operators, who wish to make home delivery in their respective areas. The information of which will be communicated to the general public. Grocery store operators order phones from the public for home delivery, Take it through WhatsApp or other apps. Grocery store operators will be allowed to supply goods only through home delivery. Shop operators will not be able to supply grocery supplies directly to citizens by opening shops. Strict action will be taken against the shop operator if he is found selling the goods directly to the customers by opening the shop.
As per the instructions issued, shopkeepers will be able to use small vehicles for home delivery. Payment of goods will be done through online mode as much as possible. Grocery store operators will make home delivery in their own area, unnecessary traffic will not be allowed in other areas. The SDMs of all the concerned areas will issue movement passes to the shopkeepers desirous of home delivery, so that the shopkeepers will be able to travel within a certain border area, ward or locality. Home delivery person must follow the Kovid protocol. By putting on a mask, Contact less delivery will be valid following social distancing. Home delivery facilities will not be provided to shopkeepers living in Home Isolation due to Corona being infected or relatives infected. Wholesalers will take orders from shopkeepers engaged in the system of home delivery and supply the necessary items through phone or online. Indian Penal Code 1860, Disaster Management Act 2005 against the person concerned for violating protocol of Kovid-19 during home delivery, non-compliance of lockout instructions and non-compliance of government instructions issued from time to time for prevention of corona. And punitive action will be taken under the epidemic control act.
