Collector gave instructions to prevent pandals from gathering crowds
Kondagaon, 29 September 2020. Collector Pushpendra Kumar Meena has issued detailed guidelines for the installation and statue of Maa Durga to be established in Navratri festival with a view to control and prevent this period of corona virus infection. According to the instructions issued by Collector Office Kondagaon, during installation of the idol of Durga Mata during the Navratri festival, it should be kept in mind that the height of the idol should not be more than 6 feet and the width is 5 feet and the idol installation pandal should not exceed 15 square feet. There should be enough open space in front of the pandal. The road or street should not be affected by the pandal and open space in front. There should not be a separate arrangement for the audience to sit in the pandal. Do not put a chair. At any one time, the total in front of the pandal does not exceed 20 people. The distance from one pandal to another is 250 m. Be no less than
The person or committee installing the idol will maintain a register in which the name, address, mobile number of all the people coming to visit will be recorded so that contact tracing can be done if any of them are found corona infected. The person or committee installing the idol will install at least 4 CCTV cameras so that contact tracing can be done if they are found corona infected. No person who attends idol darshan or worship will go without a mask. If found so, legal action will be taken against the person or committee concerned. Sanitizer, thermal screening, accelerator, by the person or committee installing the statue Handwash and Q management system will be arranged. If the fever is found in the thermal screening or any common or special symptoms related to corona, it will be the responsibility of the committee concerned not to enter the pandal.
Separate arrangements for arrival and departure for physical distancing by individual or committee will be made by barricading the bass ball. If a person gets infected due to visiting the idol installation site, then the entire cost of treatment should be borne by the person or committee who installed the idol. Statue installation will not be allowed in the Containment Zone. If the above area containment is declared during the period of worship, immediate worship will have to end.
During the idol installation, no banquet, bhandara, jagrata or cultural programs will be allowed during the immersion or after immersion. No sound amplifier and DJ will be allowed to be used during idol installation, during installation, during immersion or after immersion. No offerings of Prasad Charanamrit or any food and beverage will be allowed during idol installation and immersion. No more than one vehicle will be allowed for idol immersion. Pickup for idol immersion, Tata S, Use of a vehicle larger than a small elephant will be completely prohibited. No additional tableaux of any kind will be allowed in the idol immersion vehicle. No more than four persons will be able to go to the idol immersion and they will sit in the idol’s vehicle. No separate vehicle will be allowed. The vehicle used for idol immersion will not be allowed to stop anywhere from the pandal to the immersion site.
For immersion, the route or date and time set by the Municipal Corporation or Police will have to be followed. No idol immersion vehicle will be allowed to be taken from the busy routes of the city. No reception, bhandara, prasad distribution and pandal will be allowed anywhere on the immersion route. No process of idol immersion will be allowed after sunset and before sunrise.
With these conditions, the idol will be allowed to be installed in the houses, if the idol is installed outside the house, at least 7 days before the application must be submitted with the prescribed affidavit in the Municipal Council, Nagar Panchayat or Gram Panchayat office and the permission is obtained Only after the installation of the idol will be allowed. Priority will be given to the applications received under the first come first serve policy for the pandals. In addition to all these conditions, the SOP issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, will have to be compulsorily followed.
