Kishore Parekh of Chhattisgarh hoisted the tricolor on Pangarchulla peak at the age of 61, covered the distance of 15 thousand feet height in -7 degrees, Chief Minister congratulated

 Jagdalpur . Kishore Parekh, a 61-year-old well-known social worker of the city, has hoisted the tricolor on the Pangchuralla peak of Uttarakhand. At the age when people take retirement and sit at home, Kishore Parekh has brought glory to Bastar and Chhattisgarh by reaching the 15 thousand feet high peak. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has congratulated Kishore Parekh on this achievement.

CM Vishnudev Sai has posted on X and wrote, “Hoist the flag of Sarkashi.” Kishore Parekh ji from Jagdalpur city of Chhattisgarh has created a new record by hoisting the tricolor at the 15 thousand feet high Pangarchulla peak of Uttarakhand in minus 7 degrees. The whole of Chhattisgarh is proud of Kishore ji’s spirit of not considering age as a hindrance. Many congratulations to him and best wishes for a bright future.

Let us tell you that snow covered Pangchuralla mountain is situated in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It took 10 days for Kishore Parekh and his team to reach here. The climb to the 15 thousand feet high peak was started from 26th April. At around 8 am on May 6, Kishore Parekh reached the peak with a group of 15 members. The peak of Pangchuralla faced a temperature of -10 degrees.

It is noteworthy that a total of 15 people participated in this expedition to reach the peak of Pangchuralla mountain. Most of these were from Mysore and Bangalore in Karnataka. While Kishore Parekh joined from Chhattisgarh. Kishore Parekh has also been the President of Bastar Chamber of Commerce in the past.
