Along with the big Kanwariyas, now small innocent Kanwariyas are also traveling on foot.

As the evening falls, a crowd of people gathers to see the colourful Kanwar floats passing by. The scene looks more grand at night due to lighting. On one hand, the beautiful tableaux of Shiva temples are attracting the devotees, while on the other hand, people are enjoying the dance of Bhole devotees dressed as Lord Bhole Baba, Mother Parvati and Radha Krishna on the tune of DJ. At the same time, devotees were seen capturing the Kanwar floats on their mobile phones. Due to the Kanwariyas dancing and singing with the Kanwar, the atmosphere of the pilgrimage city has become completely Shiva-filled.
Thousands of Kanwariyas are passing through the highway carrying water from Haridwar. The Kanwar with tableaux coming from the highway has become the center of attraction for the people. The Kanwar with huge idols of Lord Shiva decorated with colorful lights, the group of Kanwariyas dancing to devotional bhajans playing on the DJ are forcing people to stop on the side of the highway till late night. People are coming in large numbers to the villages located away from the highway to see the Kanwar. Some people are serving the Kanwariyas by distributing food, fruits etc. The atmosphere of the entire highway has become devotional with the arrival of the Kanwariyas.
