Jashpurnagar 08 May 2021. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, during a virtual meeting held at his residence office last day, discussed in detail about the condition of corona infection while discussing with the officials of the more infected districts, including the Speaker and Ministers of the Legislative Assembly. He said that keeping in view the present situation of corona infection in the state, more than 10 people should not be allowed to participate in the social program of marriage and marriage. All the Collectors and Superintendents of Police should ensure that they do not include more than the prescribed number of people. For this, he has instructed all the District Collectors and Superintendents of Police to keep a strict vigil on these programs in their respective districts. Also said to ensure strict observance of Kovid friendly behavior in the programs there. He said that in order to follow this, he took necessary meeting by meeting the heads of the society within his area. Provide that these programs do not involve more than the prescribed number of people. He directed for this through local staff to ensure strict monitoring in the village.

On this occasion, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu, Principal Secretary Health Dr. Alok Shukla and Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi and Divisional Commissioner Ms. Jeneviva Kindo from Jashpur District, Inspector General of Police Sarguja Mr. R. P. Sai, Collector Mr. Mahadev Kavre, Superintendent of Police Mr. Balaji Rao, CEO Zilla Panchayat Mr. K.S. Mandavi, CMHO Mr. P. Suthar was present.
Referring to the Chief Minister, Mr. Baghel directed to keep a strict vigil for checking the border areas, inter-state borders and people coming from outside. Also directed to ensure strict adherence to the rescue guide from Corona there. He gave the necessary instructions to make Corona medicine available immediately to the entire family of the person with corona infection. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that vaccination is important to prevent corona. Keeping this in mind, he instructed all collectors to carry out the vaccination work in their respective districts with special speed. He also asked people to motivate more and more for this.
On this occasion, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Shri Charandas Mahant said that special emphasis was given for vaccination work to prevent corona infection. Similarly, Health Minister Mr. Singhdev emphasized on increasing testing and tracing, Home Minister Mr. Sahu emphasized on peace and security system, Agriculture Minister Mr. Chaube and Forest Minister Mr. Akbar to follow the guidelines of Kovid-19.
And other points including the forthcoming action plan were reviewed. Mr. Baghel directed all the bearers of the district to be strict. He said that no one should be allowed to enter the district without a health test. Giving information about the state of the district to the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, Collector Mr. Kavre said that at present the rate of corona positivity in the district has come down to 18 percent. The district administration is constantly working to reduce this further. He informed that adequate beds are available for the treatment of infected people in the district. 1190 beds have been arranged in the district. As on May 7, 533 patients are being treated and 657 beds are vacant. Besides, additional covid care centers are also being arranged. Also, oxygen generator plant has also been started in the district.
Similarly, giving information about the upcoming action plan, Mr. Kavre said that the Virology Lab will be started in the district soon for the RTPCR test. He informed that a proposal is being prepared for the arrangement of 11 ambulances, CT scan machines, and 600 additional oxygen cylinders for the expansion of health facilities in the district. All the people coming to the border barriers including Lodam, Lavakera, Singhibhar in the district are being tested and their complete information is being registered. The collector informed that only 10 persons are being allowed to participate in other social events including marriage, dashagatra during lock down in the district. Also, punitive action has been taken against those who do not follow the rules.
Shri Kavre said that the eligible beneficiaries are being vaccinated on priority. And according to the new guide line received from the state government, a special action plan for re-vaccination of APL, BPL and Antyodaya cardholders will be formulated and the plan will be materialized. Necessary arrangements are being made by the district administration for this.
