5 thousand 289 cattle ranchers sold cow dung in Gothan

47 thousand 622 cattlemen registered

 

Janjgir-Champa, 7 September 2020. Under the guidance of Collector Shri Yashwant Kumar, procurement of cow dung has started through the app fixed by the Government of District Chhattisgarh. From July 20 to September 5, 33 lakh, 63 thousand, 596 kilograms of cow dung were purchased from the 5,289 cattle herders of the district in the village and urban and local bodies. So far, a total of 47 thousand 622 cattle rearers have registered themselves in 244 Gothans of the district. Along with this, under the new system, cow dung procurement is being done from September 6 through the ‘app’ of the government.

The Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, Shri Tirtharaj Agrawal informed that the Godhan Nyaya Yojana is being run smoothly in the district under the guidance of Collector Yashwant Kumar. Under his guidance, cow dung is being purchased by the government in the district through an app made through chips. He told that in the district

33 lakh 63 thousand 596 kilograms of cow dung were purchased from 5 thousand 289 cattle herders in 9 districts and 15 municipal bodies. Dung sold twice to cattlemen has also been paid into their accounts. Gobar will be purchased through mobile app in every Gothan in the district. The nodal officers of Gothan have been given the responsibility. For this, they have also been trained to run the app. Through this app, sellers will get complete information sitting at home.

Purchase of maximum dung in Akaltara district

Most of the dung in the district has been purchased from Akaltara Janpad Panchayat. A total of 7 lakh 33 thousand 655 kilograms of cow dung have been purchased from here. Similarly, 6 lakh 57 thousand 429 kg in district panchayat Nawagarh, 4 lakh 51 thousand 915 in Dabhra, district panchayat, 2 lakh 89 thousand 253 kg in Gothan of Baloda Janpad Panchayat, 2 lakh 23 thousand 810 kg in district panchayat Jaizapur, Janpad Panchayat Bamnidih In one lakh 92 thousand 230 kg cow dung and 1 lakh 93 thousand 246 kg cow dung was purchased in Janpad Panchayat Sakti. 1 lakh 26 thousand 773 kg in district Panchayat Pamgarh, 1 lakh 16 thousand 200 kg in district Panchayat Malkharoda and 3 lakh 79 thousand 85 kg cow dung was purchased in 15 urban bodies.
