Janjgir-Champa 18 February 2021.  President of Chhattisgarh State Legislative Assembly Dr. Charan Das Mahant said that youth should organize more and more sports including cricket in the region. He said that sports helps to develop health body and brain. The Speaker said that sports are an effective means to increase mutual goodwill , brotherhood , mutual affection and bridesmanship. He was addressing the closing ceremony of the Saragaon Cricket League competition at the theater in Saragaon Bazar today. In his address, on the demand of the players, Dr. Mahanta spoke of taking positive action to build a sports stadium in Saragaon.
On this occasion, District Panchayat President, Mrs. Yenita Chandra , Bamnidih District Panchayat President Mrs. Sahu , All Mr. Dinesh Sharma , Gulzar Singh ,Chairman of Nagar Palika Champa, Shri Bhagwan Singh , Mr. Dinesh Shur , Mr. Gulzar Singh , Mr. Vivek Sisodia , Chairman of Nagar Panchayat Saragaon , Councilors , Distinguished Citizens , Journalists , Sportsmen , Citizens . Journalist Shri Ravi Shankar Pandey conducted the program effectively.
Kamarid was the winner and the runner-up team of Sara village – In the
Saragaon Premier League, the Kamarid cricket team defeated Saragaon in the final and won the title of winner. Dr Mahant gave Shield to the winning team Kamarid and Rs 21 thousand , runner up team of Saragaon Shield and 11Awarded cash prize of thousand rupees. The award of the man of the match was given to Amrit, the captain of the cricket team. Ravi Rathore (Sardar) and Chandrasekhar Rathore were awarded for Best Umpiring. The winners of this competition organized under the aegis of Nagar Yuva Sena Saragaon and all the players of the runner-up team were honored by wearing the medal by the lotus by the Chief Guest Dr. Mahant. The three-day rain-interrupted league cricket match was organized with enthusiasm. Doctor Mahant praised it.
