Raipur. Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Vijay Sharma today announced a judicial inquiry into the recent vandalism of Jaitkham, a religious place of Satnami community in Girodpuri Dham. Following the demand of various organizations and representatives of the Satnami community, as per the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the Deputy CM announced a judicial inquiry into the matter and said that strict action will be taken against the culprits.

He said that incidents that disturb social harmony will not be tolerated anywhere in the state. Strict action will be taken against those guilty of such acts. Along with this, he has also appealed to everyone to maintain social harmony.

It is worth mentioning that last week on the night of 15-16 May, anti-social elements vandalized the Pujya Jaitkham near the holy Amar Gufa of Girodpuri Dham. After which the Satnami community had gheraoed the colalthedistrictsandwarned of a fierce agitation if appropriate action was not taken.d
