Corona virus control measures reviewed.
Jagdalpur 29 May 2020. Newly posted Collector of Bastar district, Shri Rajat Bansal took an introductory meeting of district level officers in the faith room of Collectorate Jagdalpur on 29 May today. During this time he got acquainted with all the officials present in the meeting. Shri Bansal asked all the officers and employees posted in the district to work with teamwork and edit all public welfare works of the government within the time limit. So that the benefit of these schemes can reach the last person of the society. In the meeting, the collector also reviewed the measures being taken to prevent the spread of novel corona virus infection in Bastar district. Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Mr. Indrajit Chandrawal, Additional Collector Shri Arvind Ekka, all revenue subdivisional officers of the district and senior officers were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the collector took brief information from the officials of all the departments regarding the status of their departments and their implementation in the district. He also instructed the officers to prepare work plans and execute the works in time-limit. Reviewing the measures to control the novel corona virus, asked to ensure strong preparedness to deal with any situation. The Collector, taking information about the status of quarantine centers in the district, gave instructions to ensure basic facilities in all quarantine centers. He asked to take special care of pregnant mothers in quarantine centers and make proper arrangements for them. Mr. Bansal also instructed to increase the number of paid quarantine centers in the district and to make all the hotels a paid quarantine center. The Collector said that concealing any information regarding the protocol prescribed under the measures to control the corona virus comes under the category of crime. He also directed to take strict action against such a person.
In the meeting, the collector also inquired about the works of the Corona Control Room and instructed to keep it operational the whole time. The collector said that as per the instructions of the government, the market will be closed on Saturday only and shops will be operational from 7 am to 7 pm on all other days. At the same time, inter-state transport, hotels, resorts, stadiums etc. will also be closed. The collector said that making Maharani Hospital of Jagdalpur city all-inclusive is my top priority. He asked the hospital superintendent to ensure all measures for this.
