Collector gave instructions to strictly follow the rules for protection from corona

 

Jagdalpur, 06 April 2021.  Collector  Rajat Bansal directed to strictly follow all the rules for protection from Corona. In the deadline meeting held in the district office on Tuesday, he directed to declare the area as a container for 14 days and corona investigation of all the people residing in that area, if any corona positive case is found in any area. The Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, Mr. Inderjit Chandrawal, Additional Collector Mr. Arvind Ekka and District level officers were present in the meeting.
The collector said that according to the instructions of the government, it would be compulsory for those coming from outside to stay in Isolesh for seven days. He said that it is necessary to be more vigilant in view of the ever increasing cases of corona. Strictly following all the instructions given by the regime for the control of the corona, maintaining social and physical distance, compulsory use of masks in public places as well as prompting for regular washing of hands. He said that no relaxation of any kind can be allowed to defeat Corona. He also instructed to maintain strict vigil in the boundaries of the district and keep information about those coming into the district. Along with thermal scanning of travelers coming from other district, their destination should also be kept. Emphasizing on increasing the speed of vaccination to control the corona, the Collector said that the distribution of vaccines should be done in proportion to the population.
The Collector instructed to make people widely aware to take all necessary precautions to avoid outbreak of heat. He directed the workers in construction sites to provide a holiday to protect them from the afternoon sun, as well as to arrange for drinking water.
Giving instructions regarding ensuring the availability of drinking water and drainage water during the summer, the collector said that upon receipt of information about bad hand pumps, immediate repair should be done. In the meeting, necessary instructions were given to resolve the department-wise review of pending applications and time-limit cases in the Guhar app.
