Raipur. IRCTC will run Bharat Gaurav tourist train under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat scheme. The first train for Dakshin Darshan Shubh Yatra will leave from Bilaspur Railway Station on May 25. This initiative has been taken to make domestic tourists aware of the rich cultural and religious heritage of India.

In this journey of 7 nights and 8 days, Rameswaram, Madurai, Tirupati and Srisailam-Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga’s temples and places of interest will be visited. For this, passengers will have to bear the cost of only Rs 15,500 per person. Ministry of Railways has started operation of Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains with the objective of promoting the tourism concepts of “Dekho Apna Desh” and “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” envisaged by the Government of India from different parts of the country. These theme-based trains of Indian Railways have been envisaged to acquaint domestic tourists with the rich cultural and religious heritage of India. The 7 Nights 8 Days journey will cover Rameswaram, Madurai, Tirupati and Srisailam – the temples of Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga and Sightseeing will be done. For this, passengers will have to bear the cost of only Rs 15,500 per person. This train will pass through Bilaspur, Bhatapara, Tilda Nora, Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh and Gondia, Tirora, Bhandara Road, Nagpur, Sevagram, Ballarshah stations in Maharashtra, from where passengers will be able to board this train.

Accommodation as per itinerary, tour escorts, travel insurance, on-board security and housekeeping services are included in the tour. During this, Kovid rules will be followed.
