The complaint letter of a candidate regarding the recent recruitments in CGPSC has gone viral. It is written in the letter that the one with lower number was selected and he was rejected. BJP has made many serious allegations on this, to which the PSC has responded.
A candidate resident of Patan in Durg district had participated in the PSC State Service Examination in the year 2022. He wrote in his complaint letter – After looking at the detailed merit list, it has come to light that I had got 771.5 marks in the written examination in OBC category. But the one who has been selected has got 770.50 marks. He has been given the post of Assistant Jail Superintendent. A letter was sent to the PSC Secretary on September 20. If the leader-official has relatives or has one crore, then he can become Deputy Collector – BJP
Former minister Mahesh Gagda wrote on Twitter – I got angry after reading the letter. If you have Rs 75 lakh, Rs 1 crore and you are a relative of a Congress leader or a senior official, then you can become a Deputy Collector. If you work hard day and night and score good marks and you do not have money, then you are directly removed from the list. Gagda further said that ‘this is the same thing done by the Congress government of the state, which took crores of rupees and made the Deputy in PSC examination. Sold posts like Collector. A news has been circulated on social media regarding Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission not calling eligible candidates for the interview during the selection process. It has been complained that during the recruitment of CGPSC-2022, the candidates who got 710 to 715 marks in the written examination in OBC category have been called for interview.
The candidate alleges that he had got 771.5 marks in the written examination. Despite this he was not called for interview. On behalf of the complaining candidate, in the Question-cum-Answer Booklet of the first question paper, in question number 17 (b) on page number 20, the Commission declared him (ineligible) because of mentioning the names of Radheshyam and Rajesh Mohan and showing the identity symbol. According to paragraph 11 (ix) of the advertisement issued by Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission and paragraph 04 of the instructions mentioned in the question-cum-answer book – do not write your name, roll number, any other information anywhere in the question-cum-answer book except the prescribed place. Religious symbol, any identification mark or any letter, word, sentence or any religious word or sentence other than the answer should not be written.
Do not use any other color or type of pen like sketch pen, highlighter, glitter pen other than blue and black ball point pen in the answer sheet. By doing so the scrutinizer may declare the concerned candidate ineligible. The Commission’s decision on this will be final. The candidate who complained for not following the rules has been declared ineligible.
