Raipur 08 June 2023. Former CM Raman Singh has targeted the Congress for the long list of contenders for the assembly ticket and the advice given to the leaders by Kumari Selja. Raman Singh said that fear has prevailed in the Congress since today, the way the chain of claimants and the crowd is visible, after that they have started the politics of pressure.

In fact, in the meeting held in Bilaspur, Kumari Selja had clearly told the leaders that those who will get ticket will get it on the basis of their performance and those who do not get ticket will work for the party.

Report card should be sought from CM, not from ministers and MLAs
These days there is a discussion in the Congress about the report card of ministers and MLAs, former CM Dr. Raman Singh has said that if you want to see the report card then why do you ask for the ministers, see the Chief Minister. The report card is of the Chief Minister that how many roads and bridges have been built, how many hospitals and how many infrastructure works will be done. How much investment is there in the power sector. If this performance is to be seen, then on the basis of the performance of the Chief Minister, the condition of ministers and MLAs is worse. If we see in the field of agriculture, the Chief Minister should give the account of how much work has been done in 88 Vidhansabhas and 88 Vidhansabhas in entire Chhattisgarh except Patan and Durg. If review is to be done, then the development works of the Chief Minister should be done.

Expressed gratitude to the central government for increasing the MSP
Former CM Dr. Raman Singh said that the Prime Minister not only takes big decisions keeping in the interest of the farmers of the country, but also works to give new gifts to the farmers every year. The work done by the central government to increase the support price on paddy, millets and other agricultural products. On behalf of the entire Chhattisgarh, on behalf of the countrymen, I congratulate Modi ji a lot for this decision. The increase that has taken place is that today the support price of paddy is Rs.2183. And increasing the support price was increased every year.

1360 has now increased to Rs 2183 in 2014-15. The MSP of Urad Dal has been increased by Rs 350 to Rs 6950 per quintal. The MSP of Maize has increased by 128, the maximum MSP has increased by 803 per quintal in Moong. Definitely a big step towards the empowerment of farmers. The MSP has increased in Chhattisgarh and the central government takes the entire rice for the use of its center, every year now the farmers will get 23 thousand crore rupees i.e. 107 lakh metric tonnes from the center. 23000 crore central government amount will be received. This is a huge amount given in support of the minimum support price.

When the Congress called the MSP as cumin in the camel’s mouth,
When the Congress government was in power for 10 years, they forgot that there is an increase in the minimum support price. Compare their 10 years and now I am comparing because the MSP which has increased from 2014 to now was the promise made by PM Modi to the farmers. His achievement has been and it has been increasing every year. This was not the case in Manmohan Singh’s government.

Said on imposition of ESMA on Patwaris
Former CM Dr. Raman Singh said, “The strategy and politics of repression is going on and certainly if the agitating Patwaris are continuously sitting, then they should be called and discussed, there should be a discussion. There should be an atmosphere of terror and fear by not talking and discussing.” If there is an organization that wants to be formed, then till now the officers of the level of secretary of the government should talk to them.

Reversal on CM regarding the statement made regarding ED
Former CM Dr. Raman Singh said, “The CM sees only one thing while sleeping and waking up at night, ED, where it has reached and where it is going to come.
