Raipur. Chhattisgarh’s 2008 batch IAS Neeraj Kumar Bansod has been empanelled for the post of JJoint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre. Along with Bansod, 64 officers of the 2008 batch of the Indian Administrative Service have been included in the panel.
Originally from Maharashtra, 2008 batch IAS Neeraj Kumar Bansod has done BE in Production Engineering. After that he also worked in the private sector and went to Delhi to prepare for civil services. In 2007, he passed the civil services examination from UPSC, in which he secured AIR 88th rank.
After being selected as IAS, he started his assignment in Chhattisgarh and worked as CEO of Bilaspur District Panchayat and Sukma District Collector.
