Young lad Sameer donned face mask and a t-shirt with Mr. Baghel’s face on it to welcome Chief Minister

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday reached village Pondi falling under Baikunthpur Assembly Constituency of Koriya district as a part of his meet and greet programme. A large number of people reached the helipad to give a warm welcome to the Chief Minister. Parliamentary Secretary Mrs. Ambika Singh Deo was also present on the occasion.Soon after Mr. Baghel stepped down from the helicopter, a young lad Sameer, wearing a face mask and T-shirt with Chief Minister’s picture in it welcomed Mr. Baghel at village Pondi. The Chief Minister asked the boy his name and came out of the helipad with him.
Annapurna Singh, a member of the Jampara silk women’s group, presented a mulberry kosa garland made by the group members using tussar threads to the Chief Minister. These women have prepared this beautiful garland in just three days to celebrate the arrival of the Chief Minister in Baikunthpur.
The members of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club Pondi welcomed the Chief Minister with traditional ‘Khumri’ and raw cotton garlands.
