Raipur. Bus passengers in Chhattisgarh will now be able to get information about bus timetable and bus route from the comfort of their homes. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, implementing the concept of good governance, launched the ‘Bus Sangwari App’ to make the journey of passengers smooth and simple in the meeting of Chhattisgarh State Road Safety Council today. Chief Minister Sai praised this initiative of Chhattisgarh Transport Department and said that Bus Sangwari App will be very convenient for bus passengers, especially those from remote areas. Transport Department Secretary S Prakash gave detailed information to Chief Minister Sai about the operation of Bus Sangwari App. This app prepared by Chhattisgarh Transport Department can be downloaded from Google Play Store. Public transport will be convenient for passengers through this app. Currently, more than 5 thousand buses have been included in this app, which operate on different routes. Soon, information about the operation of inter-state buses will also be available through this app. GPS system is being installed in buses. Bus Sangwari App is being integrated with GPS, so that live tracking of buses can also be done.

Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Pingua, Public Works Department Secretary Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, School Education Secretary Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, Chief Minister’s Secretaries P. Dayanand, Basav Raju S. and Rahul Bhagat, Transport Department Secretary S. Prakash, Excise Secretary R. Sangeeta, ADG Traffic Pradeep Gupta, Additional Transport Commissioner D. Ravishankar were present in the meeting. Commissioners of all divisions and Inspector General of Police attended the meeting virtually.
