Busted: In Chhattisgarh’s Balod district, police busted a gang that used to cheat people by changing ATM cards and arrested two main gang leaders. Balod police recovered a huge amount of ATM cards, cash and gold jewellery from these cunning thugs.According to Balod police, these thugs are so clever that they exchange ATM cards in a jiffy on the pretext of helping people. By the time the victims come to know about the fraud, these thugs have fled from the spot. Both of them have cheated people by changing ATM cards in many districts of the state so far. Police have seized 23 ATM cards, bank passbooks, checkbooks, gold chain and ring from these thugs, whose total value is estimated to be Rs. 3 lakh 50 thousand.
According to Balod police, both the accused are from the neighbouring state of Uttar Pradesh and have previously committed robbery and have also been jailed. In this case, the police have sent both of them to jail after presenting them in the court.
