Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson and former minister Rajesh Munat has made a big promise. On Sunday he accused Congress of colluding with builders. Also accused of not providing houses under PM Awas Yojana. He said that the BJP government will give houses to the poor for only Rs 75 thousand. Will give the poor his rights.
Munat has accused him of a conspiracy to snatch away the houses of the poor of the state. While discussing with the media at the BJP office Ekatm complex, he said that during the BJP rule, the colonizers had to give up 15 percent of the land for housing for the poor section. But Bhupesh Baghel government has amended that rule and handed over all the rights to the colonizer and builder. Now these builders will decide at what price to give houses to the poor.
The anti-poor Bhupesh Baghel government changed the nature of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for housing the urban poor and found a way to loot the urban poor. Now the entire amount of Rs 4 lakh 75 thousand is being recovered from the poor beneficiaries. Whereas in this, it was agreed on Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand as central share, Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand as state share and Rs 75 thousand as share from the beneficiary.
Munat said that the Central Government wants that every poor family should get a permanent house. The state government also said that we will also provide this accommodation and they also made the announcement. After making the announcement, the Centre’s money was kept. This government is selling houses by taking full money from the poor. Those who talk about the poor, who had clearly said in their public manifesto that they will provide two-room permanent houses in urban areas. Will give houses to those who do not have a lease.
Lakhs of people are still deprived in the capital in the name of lease. I am giving the example of only a few people. Where the leases of Rajiv Awas Yojana were available, they were not renewed and at the same time renewal was written there. Who owned that lease earlier and the leases that have been distributed now, which were given only for 3 years, would never have happened. There is a survey. Within the survey, there is a clear survey of which Khasra number, which person is established there and for how many years. Congress’s answer is that we will build 17 lakh houses.
State Congress spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur responded to the BJP’s press conference. Thakur said- As a counter to the anti-Chhattisgarh policy of the Modi government, the Bhupesh Baghel government of Congress has started the Chief Minister Housing Scheme. The Modi government at the Center was continuously ignoring Chhattisgarh. The Center had blocked the waiting list of 7 lakh houses in the state for a long time due to which the homeless people of the state were facing problems.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has written several letters to the Prime Minister demanding to clear the waiting list, but due to ill will towards the state, the BJP central government has kept the houses of the state on hold. To give relief to the people of the state from this malicious attitude of the Centre. With this objective, the Chief Minister has started the State Housing Scheme. In which Bhupesh government itself will provide housing to 7 lakh homeless people. In the coming time, Congress will provide housing to 17 lakh people.
