Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s visit to Jharkhand has been cancelled. He was going to Jharkhand by flight at 2 pm on Saturday afternoon, he was given the responsibility of convincing the angry leaders there. This hastily arranged tour was canceled a quarter of an hour in advance.
Actually, leaders of Jharkhand have been called to Delhi this evening. Now discussions with them will be held directly with the high command. Therefore Baghel’s tour has been cancelled.
There is political turmoil in Jharkhand
There is political uproar in Jharkhand after the cabinet expansion. Resentment has increased among the Congress MLAs included in the Champai government. It is being told that 12 out of 17 Congress MLAs are angry. These MLAs also held meetings before and after the swearing-in on Friday.
Congress MLA from Simdega Bhushan Bada has said that there will be a game ahead. Now information is being received that angry Congress MLAs are going to Delhi by 4.40 pm flight on Saturday evening.
Will present the matter in front of Delhi High Command
Congress MLAs can express their displeasure by meeting senior party leaders in Delhi. If any decision is taken on their displeasure, then the MLAs will return to Ranchi after some assurance, but as no solution has been found to the displeasure of the MLAs, the discussion about their going to Jaipur has also intensified.
It is being said that all of them will stay at one place in Jaipur and discuss the future strategy. However, this has not been confirmed yet. It is also discussed that Chief Minister Champai Soren may also go to Delhi. The budget session of the Assembly is going to start in Jharkhand next week i.e. from 23rd February.
