First voting-then shop: Chamber of Commerce appeals to traders, open shops after 1 pm..

Raipur.  Voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections in Chhattisgarh is going to be held on May 7. The public will give mandate by using their franchise. Government, administration and social workers are all busy in motivating the people to vote. In such a situation, Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries has also appealed to the traders to open their shops only after 1 pm with the slogan “First voting – then shop”.

State President of the Chamber of Commerce, Amar Parwani, said that as part of the awareness campaign in the great festival of democracy, he has organized a campaign on 7th May for 100% voting under “First Voting – Then Shop” in the Lok Sabha elections to be held on Tuesday, 7th May 2024. In view of the elections going to be held in 7 Lok Sabha seats of the state in 2024, it has been requested to open business establishments after 1 pm.

Along with this, the Chamber has appealed to all the business organizations, officials of the units and all the businessmen to exercise their franchise and also motivate their families, employees and their family members and the people around them to vote.

 

Let us tell you, in the third phase, voting is to be held for 7 Lok Sabha seats of the state namely Raipur, Surguja, Raigarh, Janjgir-Champa, Korba, Bilaspur and Durg. Therefore, President Parwani has called voting essential for democracy and has appealed to all the voters of the state to make this great festival of democracy successful by using their franchise.
