Raipur. An FIR has been registered against Mayor Ejaz Dhebar. An FIR has been registered against him for obstructing government work, assault and rioting. During the Vidhan Sabha siege, the BJP had released a video of the mayor on social media and accused the mayor of misbehaving with the police. In this case, a case has been registered against Ejaz Dhebar under sections 121(1)-BNS, 132-BNS, 191(2)-BNS, 221-BNS, 296-BNS in the Civil Lines police station.Let us tell you that on 24th July, Congress workers had blocked the road near Sahu Furniture Barricading No. 2 Vidhan Sabha to gherao the Vidhan Sabha without permission on various issues against the government. Mayor Ejaz Dhebar, Ashish Dwivedi and other workers had abused, manhandled and assaulted the police force present on duty. A case has been registered in Civil Line Police Station on the report of obstructing government work and investigation has been taken up.
