Raipur . Finance Minister OP Choudhary reviewed the development works in a meeting of district level officers in the Raigarh Collectorate hall. During this, information was taken about the status of the projects and construction works going on in the departments along with the new works proposed in the budget. In the meeting, the Finance Minister has given instructions to complete the ongoing construction work with full speed in the summer before the rains start and also take full care of the quality of the work.
Finance Minister Chaudhary told the officials that good governance has to be established. For this, discharge your responsibilities efficiently in all fields and work to give positive results. Mayor Jeevardhan Chauhan, Collector Kartikeya Goyal, Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel were present in the review meeting.
In the meeting, Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary inquired about the progress of road construction works going on under the Public Works Department. He said that quality is most important in road construction. He instructed to make farmers aware to prevent damage to the road due to the cage wheel of the tractor during road construction in rural areas. He inquired about the status of construction of approved buildings. Finance Minister Chaudhary inquired about the construction of BT road in the city by the Municipal Corporation as well as other works. He instructed to properly use the available land while preparing the drawing design for building construction. So that if there is a need for expansion of that project in future, it can be done there. For this, construction of high rise building in place of lateral space can be an option. He instructed to prepare proposals by marking land for newly approved projects. Finance Minister Chaudhary inquired in detail from the officials about the progress of construction of bridges, culverts along with roads and buildings.
Finance Minister Chaudhary also reviewed the works of the medical college. Raigarh Collector Goyal said that the work of demarcation and boundary construction of the land given to the medical college is to be done. The amount has also been approved for this. Apart from this, information was taken regarding the progress of other construction works. He instructed to organize blood donation camps regularly in the medical college. So that there is adequate availability of blood units. Finance Minister Chaudhary took information about the ongoing works approved under the KELO project and the tender for new works. He said that the work should be completed fast. He took information from the Rural Engineering Department regarding the construction of Mahtari Sadan and instructed to complete all the work soon.
Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary instructed the revenue officials to regularly monitor the working style of Patwari and R.I. in their area. There is a need to tighten their work. He said that all SDMs and Tehsildars should pay special attention to this. He appreciated the work done in the district in map partition and former registry. Collector Goyal said that Raigarh district is at the top in the creation of Apaar ID and the creation of cards of beneficiaries under Ayushman and Vaya Vandana Yojana. Similarly, Raigarh is also at the first position in the state in the construction of PM Awas. Minister Choudhary told all the officials to complete their work with full seriousness. In case of any kind of problem, bring it to the notice of higher officials and find a solution. He also discussed about the upgradation of schools and construction of buildings of the Health Department.
There should be permanent arrangement for drinking water supply in urban bodies
While reviewing the works of Jal Jeevan Mission, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary said that the works which are nearing completion should be completed soon. He directed the Executive Engineer to regularly update the progress of the work. Finance Minister Choudhary directed to prepare an action plan for preparing a permanent arrangement for water supply in Pusaur city and implement it soon. So that people do not have to struggle for water. Along with this, he directed to make proper arrangements for drinking water supply in all urban bodies.
