Baghel addressed the public meeting
Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while addressing the public meeting, appealed to make Raipur Mayor candidate Dipti Dubey and Congress candidates of the wards win and said that Municipal Corporation elections are important, you people elect MLAs, MPs but your day to day work is done by councillors and mayors. In the last five years when our government was in power and now BJP is in power, compare the two, we made ration cards for the poor, started free treatment facility, we made electricity bills cheaper, ration cards are not being made for the last 12 months. Whatever schemes we had started for the people of Chhattisgarh, they have stopped all of them. They have stopped unemployment allowance, stopped electricity bills by halving them, are cheating women in Mahtari Vandan, are giving 1000 rupees and the rest have increased inflation, are robbing the poor by imposing GST, have stopped treatment through smart cards. The respect we gave to the festivals of Chhattisgarh, they have also stopped that. We gave respect to our own people.
