Durg 24 August 2023 / The Excise Department has started pre-preparations regarding the upcoming assembly elections 2023. Continuous investigation is being done at suspicious places, routes and railway stations in the district. Assistant Commissioner Excise said that telephone number 0788-2325836 has been issued for common citizens to register complaints for prevention of illegal sale, transportation and possession of liquor and drugs in the district. Through the said complaint number, any citizen can register a complaint of sale, possession and transportation of illegal liquor and intoxicants with the department at any time. The telephone number will be operated 24 hours by the Excise Department. Apart from this, a complaint can be lodged on the toll free complaint number 14405 of the Excise Department.
