The High Court has issued a notice to the state government regarding encroachment along the Vidhansabha Road of Raipur and sought its reply. Regarding heavy vehicles parked haphazardly, encroachment and dilapidated roads, the Chief Justice has asked the state government that VVIPs can move on the dilapidated roads with security arrangements. But, common people also pass through here. Who will take responsibility for their safety?

Let us tell you that potholes have formed at many places on the road leading to the assembly. Due to the continuous movement of heavy vehicles on the road, clouds of dust fly all the time. This causes a lot of trouble to two-wheeler drivers and there is a possibility of an accident. Taking this seriously, High Court Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha has started the hearing in the form of a public interest litigation.

Who gave permission to park the vehicle on the roadside?

During the hearing of the case on Wednesday, the Chief Justice asked the counsel for the state government as to who had given permission to park the vehicle on the roadside. Is there a responsibility to take care of it or not? If an accident occurs then who will be responsible for it?

Which road is national or state highway?

The angry Chief Justice has also asked the government whether it is a national highway or a state highway. When the government lawyer replied that it was a ring road. Then he said whether those who are responsible care about the lives of common people or not.
