ED raided on Thursday. In many districts including Raipur, teams entered early in the morning at the places of businessmen. Now both BJP and Congress are face to face regarding this. Both the political parties are attacking each other over the raids.
BJP State Spokesperson Kedar Gupta said that when ED and IT raids are going on against corrupt officials and some people, then why is the Congress worried. The Congress should clarify its stand on whether the hand of the Congress is with the corrupt. Action is being taken against the corrupt and the stomach of the Congressmen is hurting.
Gupta further said – Congress is totally engrossed in liquor scam, coal scam and dozens of such scams. The cases are being presented in the court along with the evidence. IT has presented cases registered in Raipur, Delhi and Bhopal. From these documents and electronic evidence, it is clear as day light that after the formation of the Congress government in Chhattisgarh, how a nexus was formed between the mafia and the government officials for well-planned and organized loot.
ED has become front organization of BJP – Congress
For almost a year, with the aim of defaming the state government, the Income Tax and E.D. is being misused. State Congress Communications Department President Sushil Anand Shukla said that the ED is taking action beyond its constitutional limits. The methods and methodology of ED’s action is telling that it is being done to fulfill the political objectives of the BJP and with the aim of spreading lies against the Congress government. ED’s unconstitutional action will not stand in court.

Once again ED raids have taken place in Chhattisgarh. In Raipur, Korba and Ambikapur, the Enforcement Directorate team is checking the documents by raiding the houses of businessmen. It is being said that the businessmen whose houses are under investigation are close to IAS Ranu Sahu.
Investigation is going on at Rohit Agarwal’s house located in Swarnabhoomi in Kachna area of Raipur. Rohit is associated with the business of Tendupatta. The ED team is examining the documents since morning. The ED team knocked at the residence of former councilor and businessman Shiv Aggarwal, a resident of Station Road in Korba, from 5 am. Till the time the people of the house could understand something, the team started investigating by keeping all the people of the house in one room. After investigation for about 5 hours, the ED team returned empty handed.
