Raipur 10 June 2020. Amidst the Corona crisis, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is discussing the situation in the state today. Collectors’ conferences have started with collectors of all 28 districts, superintendents of police as well as divisional commissioners, IGs, DFOs, CCFs, CEOs of district panchayats and commissioners of municipal corporations. During the conference, the Chief Minister of Durg, Bilaspur and Raipur IG was praised, while the Raipur district administration has also received praise.
In the opening of the conference, the Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh will definitely win the fight against Corona. He said that we do not have to be tired, do not be discouraged, but to fight this battle with promptness. The work of all the districts during the Corona epidemic was commendable. He said that the officers and employees worked on all the festivals including Sundays and Saturdays, thanking everyone for this. He said that the figures have increased a bit now, but I am sure as if you have controlled so far, you will do so further.
The Chief Minister praised Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur IG and said that he did a good job for the pedestrians. Along with necessary arrangements for migrant laborers, chappals were also arranged. Nominal officers nominated for various states did commendable work. He also praised Raipur district administration for its better work. The Chief Minister said that good arrangements have been made in the Quarantine Center, good arrangements are necessary in the Quarantine Center.
He said that Chhattisgarh has been a pioneer in industrial production and employment. Employment has been provided in rural areas as well as urban areas. It is a matter of concern that some industrial units brought workers without information. Good work has been done in rural areas under MNREGA. People have been given extensive employment. Timely wage payments have also been made.
